Jeffrey Lau is a Hong Kong comic artist best known for Feel 100%, which has been adapted multiple times into films, television dramas and stage plays, and has been popular among young audiences. He has received several awards, including the Gold Award at the 2008 Japan International Manga Award and the Hong Kong Community Service Award in 2009.
Lau has served as Honorary Adviser of the Hong Kong Comics and Animation Federation, Deputy Secretary-General of the Greater Bay Area Comics Association, and as a judge for various comic competitions. He has also hosted a drawing programme on TVB and taught animation creation at the Communication University of China.
In 2020, his skateboard art was sold at Sotheby’s. In 2021, Feel 100% was featured on a set of stamps, and in 2024 it was adapted into a stage play. At the same time, he has been active in school talks and cultural promotion, and has published several comic and illustration collections.
